TransDyne, while sending confidential patient information over the Internet, uses private leased lines and 128 bit encryption technology. Additionally, TransDyne assumes liability within its service contract to keep all patient information confidential.

All TransDyne's employees are required to sign a confidentiality / non-disclosure agreement.

Electronic communication typically has two areas of vulnerability, the client site and the host site. TransDyne overcomes these by adopting security measures at the client side and TransDyne side.

CLIENT SIDE

The possibility of data snooping on the client-end is relatively low since the client connects to the Internet and transfers the data (voice files) using our proprietary web based system (SmartTransfer). Access to this service is available only to authenticated users over a SSL 3.0 channel. All authentication and data communication is 128 bit encrypted.

SERVER SIDE

The site is well protected behind a firewall that audits logins and activity. This site does not allow anonymous logins. All logins are encrypted to ensure maximum security. The internal network is further separated from the Internet by a proxy server, which totally bars all incoming inquiries. Therefore, data can be continuously transferred from the site to the internal network without compromising security.
